Hell`s Gate National Park
Hell`s Gate National Park. The most unique part of Hell’s gate national park is that a person would not only visit but also experiencing the park. The park is safe for tourists to walk or cycle unguarded with knowledge of cheetah, lions and leopards may be lurking bring the most excitement. The scenery is dramatic with the presence of rich ochre soils and savannah grasses squeezed between the parks as the looming cliffs of rusty columnar basalt.
There is various entrance gates to the park, they include:
- Eastern entrance- There is the presence of Fischer’s tower which is a 25m high volcanic column that was named after a German explore named Gustav Fischer. The tower is known for popular rock climbing
- Southern entrance- Central tower that is a picnic site and an excellent walking descends into the lower gorge (Ol Njorowa) . It’s a narrow sandstone ravine sculptured stunningly by water and marvelous shadows cast by the incoming
- Buffalocircuit- offers fine views over the Hells gate gorge, surrounding countryside, and the serrated profile of a distant Longonot.
- Western entrance – hosts Olkaria geothermal station where the plumes of the rising steam can be seen from various park’s
